Long-period fiber grating sensors based on deposition of low-refractive index materials

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingConference contributionpeer-review

Abstract

The deposition of coatings of lower refractive index than the cladding on a long-period fiber grating permits to design optical devices, such as a humidity sensor. A theoretical model permits to predict the experimental results.
