Abstract

Different nanostructures responsiveness and processability in exact shapes or dimensions are becoming increasingly important in a variety of applications, including environmental remediation (e.g., wastewater treatment), energy generation, and storage (e.g., biomedicine). Nanotechnology and nanoscience have risen to the top of the list of the most intriguing fields of research being conducted today. By providing regulated functional building blocks into the nanomaterial society, graphene, an incomparable morphological 2-D carbon material, has sparked a gold rush in the nanomaterial society. Furthermore, the mechanical, electrical, and optical properties of graphene make it a promising candidate for use in solar energy conversion and electrochemical energy devices, among other uses.
