Abstract

In this work we report the synthesis and characterisation of nanostructured magnetic-polymer materials. It includes: i) the synthesis and characterization of magnetic nanoparticles such as, Co80Ni20 using the polyol method, sPS.CoFe2O4 using sulphonated polystyrene and Fe3O4 by the coprecipitation technique, ii) the preparation of above nanoparticles embedded into PVA and PVC polymer matrix, iii) the preparation of nanostructured core-shell Fe3O4-polypyrrole composites.
