Abstract

A positioning device (1) comprising a planar surface (3), a mobile platform (4, 24, 34) configured to slide along said planar surface (3) and cables (6) for positioning and moving said mobile platform (4, 24, 34) along said planar surface (3). The mobile platform (4, 24, 34) comprises a planar bearing system (5, 25, 35) located at the side of the mobile platform (4, 24, 34) configured to slide along the planar surface (3), said planar bearing system (5, 25, 35) comprising: means for pushing the mobile platform (4, 24, 34) against the planar surface (3); and means for allowing sliding of said planar bearing system (5, 25, 35) with respect to the planar surface (3).
