Abstract

Two different methods are presented to follow kinetics of redox processes in conducting polymers linked to properties of technological interest: electrodissolution, electrodeposition and electrochromism. Spectroelectrochemical and "ex-situ" microgravimetric measurements allow kinetic magnitudes to be obtained from solid state reactions in polypyrrole and from solution deposition reaction using poly(2,5-di-(2-thienyl) pyrrole.
