N2 - With the advent of the new Industry 4.0, the human-machine interaction is presented as a key challenge. In this new industrial landscape, the Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) where the greatest number of interactions occur, must be adapted to users, so that they can exploit all the value offered by new technologies. In this context, the user experience is one of the disciplines that most potential shows in the design and evaluation of industrial HMIs. Systems designed based on the user experience, beyond increasing the efficiency of operators, will generate positive emotions that impact their motivation and involvement, increasing intelligence, decision-making capacity and facilitating learning processes. Faced with this situation, and seeing its potential, this article presents a review with a new classification of user experience evaluation methods, with the aim of identifying new opportunities to introduce this discipline in the design and assessment of industrial HMIs.
