Abstract

In this paper we deal with a novel approach to the Layer-by-Layer (LbL) method for the fabrication of pH sensitive films with the purpose of producing spatially ordered patterns. The method used here is called Electric Field Directed Layer-by-Layer Assembly (EFDLA) and consist on the application of a DC voltage between electrodes during the LbL fabrication process in order to increase the adsorption of the particles on one electrode and reducing the deposition on the other electrode.
