Abstract
SmartSantander is a large-scale experimental framework primarily focused on enabling experimentation in the context of smart cities and Internet of Things. In this paper, an overview of the SmartSantander project and the experimental framework the project has designed and deployed areprovided. The main architecture components are described, a few of the main deployed services are presented and an outline is given of how experiments are run using the framework.
