Abstract

This paper introduces the "joPAS" programming API, which has been developed by the PAS research team at the Univer-sity of Deusto. "joPAS" enables the use of "octave" vari-ables and functions through a JAVA program. Therefore, this API makes it possible to not only develop signal processing applications quickly by implementing the application's graphic interfaces in Java language but also to carry out the scientific calculation in "Octave". Students can easily learn the implementation of digital signal processing applications with this API.
