Abstract

An interferometric optical fiber sensor based on two nanoFabry-Perot interferometers (nFPs) in-line is experimentally demonstrated. The proposed sensing scheme takes advantage of both nFPs which individually act as humidity sensors and in this arrangement serve as a dual head sensor which improves the output range in 3 dB.
