Resumen
One of the main difficulties for the proper management and logistics of construction and demolition waste is the distributed nature of its generation, which substantially differs from the more conventional generation of waste at industrial production facilities. In this regard, this chapter aims to describe the most important specificities of construction and demolition waste management. The description is focused on some of the most important trends in the on-site management of waste at construction or demolition sites, with specific regard to site planning, the role of logistics, and on the most common policy and regulation practices around construction and demolition waste.
