Resumen
This article analyses how job quality contributes to the construction of competitive territories and well-being, especially in contexts where innovation and talent management are key to business success. Based on a review of the literature, it identifies extrinsic variables (salary, benefits, safe environment, work situation) and intrinsic variables (professional development, leadership, social dialogue, training, work-life balance, social and psychological factors) that influence job quality. Evidence shows that companies with decent working conditions attract and retain talent, foster innovation and achieve economic growth. Promoting quality jobs not only improves job well-being but also boosts resilience and economic dynamism. It is concluded that public policies and business strategies should be oriented towards quality working environments.
