Resumen

In this paper, the authors describe the kind of calculations made by a train manufacturer in order to design and validate the combination of trains plus infrastructure for a given railway route with specific requirements. The authors provide the basic models and the solving procedure and a complete description of the infrastructure and the results obtained used for validate the proposed infrastructure. These kind of calculations are essential in order to determine whether or not the proposed solution is valid and how the chosen traffic and headset affect to the system congestion.
